Glycolic acid is used for superior exfoliating of dead skin cells. It is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) derived from sugarcane known to exfoliate the top layer of skin to reveal a smoother, brighter complexion, while enabling the skin to be more receptive to skincare ingredients. Glycolic acid can help with acne, hyper pigmentation, signs of aging and scarring.

DOES A FACIAL HURT?
It can hurt if you’re in for a cleansing facial that requires extraction and the more extraction the more of possibility of discomfort. If its relaxation and hydration only that you’re looking for than there will be only relaxation and no discomfort. Your aesthetician will discuss this prior to any facial.
ARE THERE DIFFERENT KINDS OF FACIALS?
Yes! Before beginning your facial your aesthetician will analyze your skin to determine what your skin type is and what your needs are. The products chosen for your facial will be suitable for your skin type.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU GET FACIALS?
A lot depends on the client’s age, skin type, sun exposure and overall skin health. This is also discussed with you aesthetician but on average every 4-6 weeks is suitable for basic maintenance and self care.
