About Sandra Gray, Lic. Ac., MAOM, Dipl. OM
Sandra has practiced acupuncture and traditional Chinese herbal medicine for 15 years in Southern New Hampshire and in the Boston/Somerville area. She graduated from New England School of Acupuncture with an MAOM (Masters degree in acupuncture and oriental medicine) and has studied with Dr. Tao Xie and Sharon Weisenbaum among other prominent Chinese herbal practitioners. She is licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Sandra specializes in women’s health with a deep understanding of the cycle of a woman’s life. She has focused on period imbalances, infertility, pregnancy issues and menopausal rebalancing. She has found Chinese medicine to be a successful alternative to hormone therapies and also a complement to western medical approaches with positive outcomes in many difficult “impossible” cases. Sandra has also enjoyed working with clients to relieve insomnia, digestive issues, chronic respiratory problems, chronic and acute pain and migraine headaches among other symptoms. She also has provided palliative care for the elderly at home.
Sandra has had a private practice in Milford, New Hampshire for 12 years and has worked at Pathways to Wellness in Boston as an acupuncturist and clinical herbalist. She has also worked as a private herbalist and acupuncturist at the New England of Acupuncture where she provided services in the on-site clinic as well as home care services for those unable to come to clinic.
Sandra is excited about joining Kenko Do clinic to work with clients close to her home in Davis Square, Somerville.
